Psychotherapy

What is Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is a widely recognised and increasingly popular talking therapy used to help people sort out their emotional and psychological problems and difficulties. It is an important part of our ‘Richer Life Programme’ because it enables our High Achieving Clients to identify and overcome barriers to personal and business growth and success. Faulty programming and limiting beliefs are toxic to our mind and body. They have the potential to create stress, anxiety, depression and a negative impact on everything we do if we don’t address them. Ultimately, they can lead to burnout and create illness and disease which our High Achieving Clients most certainly do not have time for. Psychotherapy is a preventative approach which addresses the root cause(s) which is always the best option.

Achieving their never-ending list of challenging goals in the most efficient way possible is top priority for High Achievers because they want and need to maximise their performance, wellbeing and success so they can be the best they can be. Simply put, Psychotherapy means therapy for the psyche and everyone should use it because we all need it and can benefit from it! (In fact, those who deny they need it, actually probably need it more than most). At Claire Rich we believe that it is most powerful when combined with Clinical Hypnotherapy and Life Coaching for performance enhancement in all areas of life.

The Misconceptions about Stress and Psychotherapy

Unfortunately, there is a certain amount of stigma attached to having therapy these days whether it be Hypnotherapy, Counselling and Psychotherapy or Life Coaching which is absolutely absurd. Everyone needs to understand that Psychotherapy is not just a treatment for the mentally ill but also an opportunity for everybody to determine and fulfil their true potential, especially when it comes to relationships both personal and professional. Relationships are an essential part of life, and we all need to trust and depend on someone sometimes whether it be personally or professionally. As the saying goes, “No man is an island.”

There is certainly no shame whatsoever in working with a highly trained and experienced Hypnotherapist, Counsellor, Psychotherapist or Life Coach. High Achievers are smart because they understand that taking time out to get professional, confidential help is a sign of great intelligence and strength and a sound investment in their business. In fact, it is usually the strongest, most intelligent of minds who use Psychotherapy because they recognise that emotional intelligence plays a major part in creating and maintaining a healthy mind, body and business. Combine emotional intelligence with commercial acumen and you really have the edge over your competitors, and the potential to be a true Leader in your field of expertise.

How Does Psychotherapy Work?

A Psychotherapist will work with you using a range of approaches, methods and techniques during your course of Psychotherapy to help you achieve your goals. Psychotherapy will help you understand how you tick and gain a deeper understanding of yourself so you can move forward much stronger and wiser. The way we interpret life and deal with stress has a major impact on our health, wellbeing and success which is why emotional intelligence is so important. Psychotherapy and Psychotherapy Courses such as our ‘Richer Life Programme’ allow you to maintain optimum mind/body fitness so you can be the best you can be.

We all experience problems and difficulties at various times in our lives or simply occasions when things get a bit much and we need to talk and let off a bit of steam. Psychotherapy provides a safe, private and totally confidential environment where you can offload your worries and concerns without being judged in any way.

Sometimes we are unable to talk to friends, family and loved ones because we feel they won’t understand, are too closely involved, fear they’ll judge us or that we just don’t want to worry them. In some cases, there isn’t anyone to talk to and this can lead to increased feelings of sadness, hopelessness, isolation and overwhelm. It can then be difficult to see a way forward as we struggle on alone juggling a million and one things.

Why High Achievers Benefit from Psychotherapy

This is often particularly true for High Achievers who are seen to have it all sorted by everyone else and because of this they rarely get offers of help, and are usually not keen to ask for it as it is perceived to be a sign of weakness. With only 24 hours in a day they are trying to be superhuman to cope! These feelings of frustration and overwhelm mean they frequently beat themselves up fearing they are losing control, aren’t good enough and are failing because they aren’t achieving their goals fast enough. This simply isn’t true but they struggle to see it because they operate at such a level that it is just the norm for them.

This is why the High Achiever Community we are creating at Claire Rich is so important. The Benefits of Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy helps us find answers and solutions so that we can move forward in a positive way with newfound understanding, confidence and the resources to deal with things differently. This in turn has a positive impact on our emotional and physical wellbeing as well as everyone around us. So if you are fed up of repeating the same old negative, destructive thought and behaviour patterns and feel stuck – it’s time you did something different to break that vicious cycle and get your mojo back. If you want to feel happier, more positive and energetic then our ‘Richer Life Programme’ could be just what you need to help you find the way to a Richer Life. Our ‘Richer Life Programme’ looks after your mind, body and business so you can be the best you can be.

Nowadays people are becoming increasingly aware of the negative impact that stress has upon our daily lives. Stress and mental health issues are frequently highlighted in the media and press by both experts and recovering celebrities in the public eye. For all their money and fame, even celebrities suffer with stress related problems and illnesses, often because they too are High Achievers and are only human after all! Stress is the barrier between what we are and what we can be. It damages your mind, body and business, often without you even realising! The message is clear though, nobody needs to suffer in silence as help is always at hand if you want it. In recognition of this fact, we have created ‘The Richer Life Programme’ so that High Achievers just like you can continue to play and stay at the top of your game and manage daily stress with ease.
