Why Doing Regular Exercise is Important
We all know that being physically active and doing regular exercise plays an important role in creating and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This is why ‘Exercise’ is the third core principle of my ‘Richer Life Programme’, ‘Diet’ the second, and ‘Mind’ the first. The ‘Mind’ being the most important because it controls everything we do. When you get all three core principles in place and balanced, you reach ‘Peak Performance’ which is exactly where High Achievers need to be to play and stay at the top of their game.
The Power of the Subconscious Mind
You see when your subconscious programming is faulty, no matter how much conscious effort you make (which is reliant solely on willpower by the way), you will always struggle to achieve your goals and feel like life is a constant uphill battle. Get it working for you and everything seems so natural, effortless and easy. High Achievers usually have big visions and missions, so being physically active and doing regular exercise is essential to their health, wellbeing and success. They know that having a healthy mind and body is the key to having a healthy business. Being physically active from a young age instils healthy habits in us and also stimulates the development of our muscles, bones and joints as well as the heart and lungs. It also usually provides us with the opportunity to interact with other people and make friends which is good for the soul.
What is the Best Form of Exercise?
At the end of the day, we can all research the best form of exercise and find different opinions as to what we should do to stay fit and healthy. However, the key to staying committed and motivated is really to just do something that you enjoy and have fun doing. Once you have discovered this you will never have a problem doing it or committing to it on a regular basis.
It doesn’t matter how old you are or what stage you are at in your life, there are plenty of different exercise options to discover and be enjoyed. You don’t necessarily have to go to the gym or for a run. You could just start with something simple like getting out amongst nature and going for a walk. Exercising between 30 to 60 minutes per day is enough to off-set the risks and stay fit and healthy for optimal performance. Remembering to fuel your body in advance and stay hydrated whilst exercising is really important too.
